So much dirt!!!

We did this project late last year but with life being so busy we are just getting around to posting again.

One of the reason why we always try to put before and after is so we can show the improvement made by our team. It is one of my favorite parts. It like a messy room finally clean and sparkly. Or an unorganized closet finally organized. The feel you get after accomplishing something-and it looking great!

On this project we got hire to do a retaining wall around the driveway. If you see on the pictures the ground was pushing against the wood wall.

First we took off the old retaining wall.

Then we did the hardest part! No, it wasn't building the new wall-it was moving all that dirt...and I mean a lot of dirt. It took us two whole days just taking the dirt out! It might not seem like a lot but once that wall came down...all that dirt fell. And our customer also wanted to make her the most of her driveway. But our guys worked hard and made it happen.

The end result was so worth it.
